GDPR Statement

We want you to know that we take privacy very seriously. We always manage your details responsibly, and take great care to keep them safe and secure.

We sometimes transfer your information to other authorities, so that we can operate effectively as a school and be able to positively implement our duty of care for the school community. Under data regulations we are lawfully able to do this to carry out tasks in the public interest and as part of our legal obligation.

We regularly take photographs and videos of the children attending our school to capture and share learning and experiences. We may use these images in our school prospectus, on our website, on social media and in other printed publications that we produce. Photographs and videos of children are also used for their learning experience and to show educational activities and achievements. Photographs will be displayed in the school, in newsletters, on the school website and on social media. We may also make video or webcam recordings for educational or parental engagement use. These may be posted on our website or on social media.

Occasionally the media will take photographs or film footage of a school event. Pupils will often appear in these images.

As a school we are aware that it is essential that photographs and videos are taken and stored appropriately to safeguard the children in our care. We will never publish the names of any children next to any images or with any recordings.

We will store information on Parent/Carers in order to keep you up to date with what's happening at school and to let you know about extra-curricular activities on offer for your child. We will use this information to send you the weekly school newsletter and other information about school and upcoming events by email. If you have any concerns, please do contact the school and we will act accordingly.

If you would like to make any requests, think your data has been misused or it is not secure, you should contact us:
