John Hellins Primary School

Being the best we can be

Most of the children attending John Hellins live in Potterspury, but we also welcome pupils from the surrounding area. Admission to the school is governed by the local authority, Northamptonshire County Council, which allocate places.  In addition we hold a waiting list of families who have enquired about a place at our school.

Children will spend seven years with us before moving on to secondary school.

The standard admission is 30 children per year group and children are usually admitted to the Foundation Stage in the September following their fourth birthday.

For details of how to apply, please consult the local authority website by clicking here.

If you are a prospective parent, we would be delighted to welcome you to John Hellins. Please contact the school office to arrange a tour of the school.

The school prospectus is available to download here.
